Finca El Morito

ORIGIN INFORMATION

The new coffee on our menu comes from Finca El Morito in Guatemala.  

This coffee with a classic flavor profile comes from 2022 Cup of Excellence winner José Roberto Monterroso and his dedicated team. The farm covers 672 hectares and 98 of these are reserved for coffee cultivation. 523.4 hectares are protected under a nature conservation area dedicated to native trees, flora and fauna, including pine, cypress and encino. 

José and his team have competed in the Cup of Excellence competition 7 times before this incredible 2022 victory for Finca El Morito. This constant pursuit of excellence is clearly evident in this batch, but also in José's innovative approach and how this has influenced and shaped their approach to agricultural practices. They live in harmony with their environment and their attention to detail towards quality and sustainability is exceptional. We are really excited to be able to share this coffee with you!
