Accessible only by winding mountain paths and small handmade wooden bridges, this washing station perched at 1960 meters above sea level is more of an adventure than a simple visit. Isolated in the heart of the hills, it is surrounded by a community made up mostly of coffee farmers, who benefit from panoramic views of an ever-changing East African sky.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eGrown between 1900 and 2100 meters above sea level, this coffee is of the Bourbon variety. The cherries are hand-picked at full ripeness, then sorted by flotation before being pulped.
